About Batemans Bay

Batemans Bay is situated on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, approximately 3.5 hours drive south of Sydney, and a 2 hour drive east of Canberra. The region is serviced with regular flights by Rex Airlines through Moruya airport, approximately a 20 minute drive from Batemans Bay.

Astride the majestic sweep of the Clyde River, Batemans Bay is a bustling modern holiday destination. The Tollgate Islands guard the entrance to the Clyde River and form an impressive backdrop to the town.

Modern restaurants, a great golf course, friendly clubs and shopping temptations abound.  The beautiful beaches and waterways of the Batemans Marine Park and national parks surround "The Bay".

There is a wide choice of accommodation from hotels, motels, units, upmarket holiday parks, apartments and self-contained options.

You'll find excellent shopping at boutiques and emporiums amongst larger shopping malls and an array of art and craft galleries nearby. Cafes and restaurants feature seafood and the famous Clyde River Oysters.

The three day conference program will take place at the Batemans Bay Soldiers’ Club’s Conference Centre, set in the heart of Batemans Bay and overlooking the beautiful Clyde River with views seaward to the Tollgate Islands.

The conference will utilise Batemans Bay Soldiers Club’s excellent conference facilities for plenary sessions, breakout sessions, poster exhibition and a trade display area.
